At the heart of the limestone foothills of the French Alps (alt. 1480 ft), our property is situated halfway between Lake Bourget and Lake Annecy, in a tiny hamlet close to the medieval town of Alby sur Chéran, at the entrance of the Parc Naturel Régional du Massif des Bauges (Bauges Mountains Nature Reserve Park).

Sitting on the hillside, our alpine-style house overlooks the Albanais valley. Winter ski resorts are within one hour's drive and the beaches of Lake Annecy and Lake Bourget are within a 30 minutes' drive. The Massif des Bauges range is less than half an hour's drive away.

View from our terrace: Parmelan mountain
